The Woman Who Fell from the Sky is a play adapted from portions of the Iroquois creation story. It was originally produced in 1997 by the Mettawee River Theatre Company in New York, Ralph Lee, Artistic Director.

Red Octopus Theatre Co. has been granted special permission to produce this show. Toledo Arts Guild collaborates with Red Octopus on this production to create and craft many of the visual arts for this show.

The story is told with narration, action, poetry, and music. Puppetry, mask work, and elemental designs further the story’s telling and capture this mythic world.
